Time Warner Cable Business and Spectrum Business Internet Investigation

ATTN: TIME WARNER CABLE BUSINESS AND SPECTRUM BUSINESS INTERNET SERVICE SUBSCRIBERS

Squitieri & Fearon, LLP is investigating charges by NYS that Spectrum – Time Warner Cable unlawfully defrauded business internet subscribers by falsely promising internet speeds it knew it could not provide and falsely promising access to online content it knew it could not deliver to subscribers.

Spectrum – Time Warner used it massive size and market power to defraud its subscribers into paying premium prices for Spectrum internet access speeds and capabilities that it knew it could not provide. Spectrum – Time Warner provides internet service to 56.7% of New York State internet subscribers; 38.9% in California; 95.8% in Hawaii; 77% in Maine; 69.3% in North Carolina; 80% in Ohio; 44% in Texas; and 42.8% in Wisconsin.

If you were a subscriber to any of Spectrum – Time Warner “standard” internet plans from 2012 – 2013, or a subscriber to Spectrum – Time Warner Maxx Upgrade beginning in 2014, you were probably charged a premium price for internet speeds which Spectrum – Time Warner knew it could not deliver.
