Stephen J. Fearon, Jr. is a partner of Squitieri & Fearon, LLP. His primary practice involves pursuing class actions on behalf of investors and retirement plans in courts across the country. He has received an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell, indicating the highest level of professional excellence. He has also been voted by his peers as one of the top lawyers in New York for handling mass torts and is included in the 2011 and 2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America.

Since he began practicing law, Mr. Fearon has recovered tens of millions of dollars for the people he has represented in many class actions and individual lawsuits.

Mr. Fearon has represented hundreds of injured people and their families in pharmaceutical and medical device lawsuits. Mr. Fearon and his firm also have successfully recovered millions of dollars for employees who lost their retirement savings by investing in their employer’s stock through employer-sponsored retirement plans. Many of the cases involved situations in which the employer continued to offer company stock as a retirement investment when there was a serious, undisclosed problem with the company that made it imprudent to invest retirement assets in company stock.  Mr. Fearon currently is lead counsel for investors in many large, nationwide class actions.
